Assessment for Learning

All student's progress is regularly monitored and each student is made aware of a) how they are performing and b) how to improve.

Assessment for Learning is one of the school’s key priorities. Students are set targets each year and are formally assessed in all subjects four times a year. Subject teachers provide feedback, including detailed marking and the Form Tutor and Head of Learning monitor overall performance, so every student is regularly made aware of how they are performing and how they can improve.

Parents are invited to meet subject teachers at 'Parent's Evenings' held throughout the year and a full academic report is provided annually.
