How to Apply

Step 1 - Apply

Due to overwhelming demand we are sending an application pack to all our year eleven students in advance of the official prospectus being available.

Those wishing to apply early should read the short introduction to Sixth Form Admission and Sixth Form Life.  Then, selecting from the range of courses available at A level and BTEC level three the applicant should complete the subject block grid on the application form.  Please read the attached Grid block and information attachments for information on completing the application form.

Note if you wish to study Further Maths, A level Languages or A level music you must indicate this on the application form.

As soon as your application is received you will be given a date for interview.  Places for courses will be given on a first come first served basis with ten places reserved for external candidates.

Step 2 – Interview

Once you have applied you will be invited to meet with the Head of Sixth Form to discuss the appropriateness of your subject choices and career aims.

Step 3 – Start

Offers of a place will be made from the end of July 2011 onwards.  Early application is advised, we are an oversubscribed Sixth Form.

Following your successful application, you will be invited to attend a taster day ( check ) in September and meet the Sixth Form team and your fellow students.

Formal induction will take place during the first week of the Autumn term.
