Cardinal Pole Catholic School is a mixed 11-18 popular oversubscribed school. The school has exceptional facilities.

Cardinal Pole Catholic School community celebrated another set of outstanding A Level and vocational results and a very pleasing set of GCSE results in 2017.  Progress 8 was 0.62%, well above average. A Level students were delighted with their achievements, ensuring that they secured their places at university, including 29% in prestigious Russell Group Universities such as Oxford, UCL, Warwick, Kings College London, Liverpool and Birmingham.

Consistently one of the top sixth forms in the country, the school maintained this impressive achievement this year that OFSTED 2017 described as ‘outstanding’. Over 50% of grades were A*- B and 80% of grades were at A*- C.

The GCSE Maths results at 70% C grade equivalent and English at 74% C grade equivalent were both above national, an excellent achieving given the aps on entry.

Our most recent inspection in October 2016 from the Diocese of Westminster graded the school as outstanding in every category. The report commented that our ‘distinctive inclusive ethos of this school is tangible in every area of school life from classroom to corridors and in relationships between students and staff’ and described progress as outstanding.  Importantly, it described the school as a ‘safe place that allows all to flourish’ and a place where ‘Students make outstanding progress’.

Support Staff Vacancies:

Deputy Office Manager

Grade (salary): SO1 £29,424 - £31,140 pro rata

35 hrs per week, 40 weeks per year (Term Time only plus one week)

The Governing Body is looking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Office Manager to assist the Office Manager with the day-to-day management of the busy school office, managing a team of administrators to provide a first class, professional service to our stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who can create a professional and welcoming office environment; can demonstrate success at managing a small team; displays a calm and tactful attitude with excellent communication skills; has strong IT skills including MS Office applications; and has excellent and efficient organisational skills.
