Headteacher's Welcome

We are delighted to have this opportunity of introducing Cardinal Pole Catholic School to you, a mixed secondary comprehensive school for 11 – 19 year olds. We do so at an exciting and significant time in our history; from September 2012, our single-site state-of-the-art building in Morning Lane means your son or daughter has the opportunity to attend an established school with a wealth of achievements in a brand new building.

This year these include results which reflect the continuing improvements being made at the school, including 66% 5A*-C  grades in English and Maths, as well as 77% C grades and above in both English and in Maths.  At A Level we also secured the best results ever, placing the school at the top of the borough for sixth form achievement.

Cardinal Pole is a friendly, vibrant school with strong foundations of discipline and moral purpose. We offer a dynamic and successful learning environment which provides substantial opportunities for young people to achieve. We want our students to believe in themselves, to have ambitions and to feel confident about their place in life.
