Headteacher's Welcome

Hello my name is Katherine Hartigan and I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Cardinal Pole Catholic School to you. Our school has a strong family tradition and we like to think of ourselves as nurturing firm values of excellence and care within a high achieving and safe environment. We welcome into our school all those who can share our values.

We are also here for those boys and girls whose parents wish to have their children educated in the spirit of their faith in an inclusive co-educational setting. We aim to promote the unique development of each child intellectually, socially and spiritually.

Stress is on enjoyment coupled with achievement through our striving for the best in everybody. We want our children to know we have high expectations of them. In response, we provide inspiring teaching which leads to greater development of the independent and confident learner.

We know that success comes through hard work and we are tireless in our striving for this partnership with the child and its family.

I feel the words of our recent Ofsted report sum up what I want to say:
