Year 11 University of Cambridge Trip
Top students in Year 11 who were offered a place at our Sixth Form visited Clare College at the University of Cambridge.
The students enjoyed walking amongst the college’s impressive architecture and beautiful gardens. Before experiencing lunch in the Buttery, they attended a fascinating lecture on Forensic Linguistics. This involved listening to a man’s voice at the start of the lecture, and then everyone had to see if they could identify the same man from a series of voices at the end. This task proved more difficult than you might think, with most students getting the answer wrong!
